Joy of Plants Shipping Policy

Each piece is custom-made to order, so we want to ensure you have a clear understanding of how the process works. Below are the key details about our production timelines, shipping options, and what to expect after placing your order. At Joy of Plants, we take pride in creating bespoke pieces crafted just for you, your home, and special gifts for those you cherish.

Domestic Shipping (U.S.)

  • Complimentary standard shipping and expedited (at an additional cost)  available at checkout on most items. For overnight shipping (1-3 business days), contact us for a custom quote

Production & Shipping Timelines

 Production time (how long it takes to make your item) is separate from shipping time (how long delivery takes). Below are typical timelines for domestic orders within the U.S.:

  • Woven Throws & Tapestries: 3-5 bus. days production + 4-6 bus. days shipping
  • Printed Throws & Curtains: 3-5 bus. days production + 4-6 bus. days shipping
  • Woven Pillows & Tapestry Totes: 4-6 bus. days production + 4-6 bus. days shipping
  • Printed Suede Pillows & Canvas Totes: 4-6 bus. days production + 4-6 bus. days shipping
  • Printed Flat-Weave Rugs: 4-6 bus. days production + 4-6 bus. days shipping

Tracking Information & Shipping Delays

  • We work diligently to ensure timely delivery, but unforeseen factors — such as weather, carrier delays, customs, and holidays — may affect delivery times
  • You’ll receive tracking once your order ships. Online tracking may take up to 48 hrs to update
  • Once the parcel is with the postal service, we cannot intervene or obtain further status information

Returns, Exchanges & Cancellations

  • Returns & Exchanges: Each item is custom-made to order, so we’re unable to accept returns or exchanges for properly made items
  • Cancellations & Order Accuracy: Orders are processed quickly, so cancellations or changes may not be possible once production begins. If you notice a mistake after placing your order, please contact us immediately so we can check if adjustments are still possible
  • Measuring for Fit: If you’re purchasing an item for a specific space, please be sure to measure your area first to ensure a proper fit. All sizes are listed in imperial measurements (inches and feet)
  • Color Variations: We use the same design file for listings and production, but colors may look slightly different due to monitors, lighting, and materials. Hue variance is not considered a defect
  • Damaged or Incorrect Items: If your item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us within 2 days of delivery with clear photos so we can assist
